New York CTBUH conference: Winning the student prize 2015

26 October 2015: Wow! the Nottingham team have won the CTBUH competition!
Having gone to it thinking that it's nice to take part, but we don't have a chance of winning, we felt better after making the presentations a couple of days earlier.
On the final day of the conference, the first event of the day was to announce the winners. Nottingham are the winners!!

Sitting nervously in the front row, waiting for the announcement, Tianyi, Teng and DNC put on a cheerful look for the camera.

The girls are presented with the cheque for $6,000 - highly deserved!

The winners Teng Li and Tianyi Geng stand in front of the winning panel. Sadly Ren Nhan Le Trong was unable to come to New York to share in the joy.

Happy happy happy to be winners of the competition: Bjarke Ingels in the background.

Enjoyed hearing Bjarke Ingels close the conference with a stirring lecture about his work; and get a selfie after the lecture!
